ABOUT THE ROLE You will have previous experience within the livestock supply chain and demonstrate: Procurement and relationship management of existing and new livestock suppliers across varying livestock categories. An understanding of demand, pricing targets and production requirements across all livestock types. Purchasing execution to deliver against supply, specification and price targets. An ability to develop livestock programs to align with sales demand and customer requirements. YOUR RESPONSILBITIES Support livestock logistics to ensure production timelines and targets are met. Liaise with Livestock Coordinators to ensure procurement and scheduling is aligned to production planning. Monitor, review and report against livestock prices with consideration to industry drivers. Identify and create purchasing opportunities through critical market, industry and competitor analysis. Support livestock logistics to ensure production timelines and targets are met.
